Mortgage lender Halifax Intermediaries has joined the Submissions Brain platform created by Mortgage Brain, having undergone a trial period on it during the autumn of last year.
Following the success of that October trial, which saw it available to a small selection of intermediary companies – such as Fluent Mortgages and Just Mortgages – Halifax is now available to all such firms via Submissions Brain. This platform is an online gateway for the submission of mortgage applications that has existed for several years but used to be called Lendex.
Intermediaries can gain access to it if they are integrated with the other Mortgage Brain platforms Sourcing Brain and The Key, but also on a standalone basis if they prefer. After signing into it, they can submit completed applications for loans, share files relevant to applications or complete decisions in principle, with lenders who use the platform.
Halifax Intermediaries’ Ian Wilson told Financial Reporter that the company was happy to now be available to all firms within the market on Submissions Brain.
He then went on to say that:
“The trial was a great success and has reinforced our belief that Submissions Brain will help intermediaries to seamlessly place cases with Halifax.”
Neil Wyatt of Mortgage Brain added that it was a major coup for his firm to get one of the top lenders in the UK to sign up to the platform.
Advisors with the CeMAP qualification who are working for intermediaries will also be pleased to have access to the loans offered by Halifax through Submissions Brain.
