Mortgages (CeMAP 2) and Assessment of Mortgage Advice and Knowledge (CeMAP 3)
Consists of 4 units:
- Unit 3 – Mortgage Law and Practice
- Unit 4 – Mortgage Applications
- Unit 5 – Repayment Methods and Products
- Unit 6 – Mortgage Arrears and Post Completion
After getting to grips with the basics of mortgage advice in CeMAP 1, the CeMAP 2 and 3 parts of the course have been developed to take students on to the next level.
Individuals seeking a career as a professional mortgage advisor are legally required to hold a qualification, approved and recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and a CeMAP course is an ideal fit. Recognised by both employers and potential clients, CeMAP qualifications are an indication of in-depth and expert knowledge on mortgages. After you’ve completed all three CeMAP courses, you’ll be ready to step into your career as a qualified advisor.
Advance your skills and knowledge with CeMAP 2 & 3
CeMAP is a qualification divided into seven units and studied in different modules. After acquiring a basic grounding and essential skills in CeMAP 1, students looking to become mortgage advisors can take their studies forward in CeMAP 2 and 3.
The CeMAP 2, entitled “Mortgages”, is separated into four units that continue sequentially where CeMAP 1 left off.
CeMAP 2 starts with unit three, covering Mortgage Law, Policy, Practice and Markets. Unit four then centres on mortgage applications, training would-be advisors on all the necessary documentation involved with this form of lending. Unit five focuses on mortgage payment methods and products. Finally, unit six delves into mortgage arrears and completion issues, preparing potential advisors for any obstacles they may encounter when advising clients.
All four units in CeMAP 2 feature their own half-hour examination with 25 multiple choice questions to be completed.
CeMAP 3 is a single unit course (unit seven) and an assessment of mortgage advice and knowledge. The course features an objective examination lasting 120 minutes including six case studies and 10 multiple-choice questions.
Our CeMAP 2 & 3 courses are taught by expert tutors and have the advantage of a 90% success record. With simple-to-follow materials, you’ll also benefit from studying 1,000 previously employed exam questions, so you’re prepared to pass.
