Revising for your CeMAP exam is exactly the same as revising for any exam you’ve taken in your life; you’ll need to make the most of your study time to ensure you pass the exam. To do this you should make the best of your study space and ensure it’s conducive to work.
First of all you should find somewhere quiet to study, and ensure that you’re sat comfortably. Otherwise you’ll suffer from aches and pains during your study time. You should also make sure that your study space is well lit with a good desk lamp.
Some people like to have music in the background when they work, but silence is better to help the concentration. You should also make sure that avoid easy distractions, such as the television, phone calls or family and friends popping in to visit. It’s very easy to get distracted when you’re revising for an exam, so let your family and friends know that you’re working so they don’t interrupt you.
It’s also important to have all of your resources and study materials with you when you begin. You don’t want to interrupt your flow by having to look around for something midway through your study time.
If you schedule your revision and have a solid, prepared routine in your study space you’ll be in a better position to revise for your CeMAP exam.
