Advise Wise Mortgage Club hires two new employees

February 2, 2020 by Brendan O'Neill

Advise Wise has announced the appointment of two new members of staff, with these hires set to be responsible for developing its Mortgage Club ahead of the upcoming launch.

It is planning to debut this club this month and both Jon Tweed and Jane Hanlon will have senior roles within it. Tweed will be bringing almost two decades worth of experience within the mortgage sector to his new role, primarily in the area of later life lending, and was previously employed as the head of intermediary sales at OneFamily.

Hanlon will be taking up the position of mortgage club manager at Advise Wise and will be in charge of the club’s place desk and helpdesk services. Before this, she worked at Premier Equity Release Club, handling its distribution and development.

Speaking to Mortgage Introducer about the new appointments, Advise Wise chief executive Jonathan Thirkill said that they demonstrated how focused the company was on making sure that mortgage advisors have a solution that covers all of their needs, by adding a helpdesk staffed by experienced people and a Mortgage Club to Advise Wise’s platform.

Tweed went on to add that Advise Wise, which launched during November last year, was a new platform aimed at later life mortgage sector advisors and that it combined expert support and guidance with the latest cutting edge technology.

Mortgage advisors that have taken a CeMAP training course should familiarise themselves with new initiatives to ensure they can offer borrowers the best advice.
