Heavens have opened at Family Building Society

October 18, 2022 by Mark

The Family Building Society has announced the recruitment of a new regional business development manager, with Stuart Heavens having been appointed to the role.

Heavens has a great deal of experience of the mortgages and lending sector. During the decade and a half that he has been employed within it, he has worked for Leeds Building Society, Countrywide and Nationwide. However, his most recent position prior to taking up this job with the Family Building Society was at Catalyst Property Finance, as one of its team of intermediary relationship managers.

The region that he will oversee in his latest role will be the south coast, covering the area between Dorset and Sussex. This position was previously held by Michelle Bunter, before she switched to a new one providing help and support to mortgage advisors.

Intermediary sales head for the Family Building Society, Darren Deacon, stated that the company was pleased to be adding Heaven to its team of business development managers and that it showed the importance that the firm placed on its advisors.

According to Mortgage Strategy, Heavens said that:

“This is an exciting challenge for me and I am very pleased to be joining such an innovative and forward looking building society, covering an interesting and beautiful part of the country.”

After they get the CeMAP qualification that they need to be professionals, mortgage advisors still need the support of top quality people within building societies and other lenders to be able to deliver the best service for their clients.
