Improvements to online applications announced by Twenty7tec

December 26, 2024 by Brendan O'Neill

Twenty7tec has unveiled some improvements to its online mortgage application processes, which are set to be for loans applied for using the Nationwide APPLY functionality.

The aim of the changes is to make the application process simpler and speedier for mortgage advisors. It will make applications submitted through the APPLY functionality a more streamlined and advanced experience and will incorporate every aspect of the process. That includes the steps towards getting a decision in principle from the mortgage lender.

Another advantage for advisors is that searching for the right product will be made easier than it was before. Combined with submission processes of greater speed and efficiency, it should enable advisors to increase their productivity levels without sacrificing high standards of customer service.

Some of the features that mortgage advisors will be able to access now include: application tracking functions; product reservations made directly through APPLY; and seamless application transfers from APPLY to the NFI portal on the Nationwide website.

The upgrades will also provide them with more types of borrowers to work for, alongside the standard residential remortgage and purchase ones. They will now be able to submit DIPs for interest-only and self-employed applicants as well as those applying for one of the Helping Hand loans from Nationwide.

Nathan Reilly from Twenty7tec said that the improvements showed how focused both this platform and Nationwide were on making things easier for advisors.

Those with CeMAP mortgage advisor training will welcome anything that makes the process of submitting applications more efficient.
