Mortgage conference offers debates and industry insights

November 26, 2023 by Mark

The industry website Financial Reporter has announced that it will be hosting a new conference intended to help mortgage advisors in dealing with the issues expected to arise during 2024.

This conference has been given the name The Mortgage Outlook Summit and it will last for one day. The keynote speaker at the event is set to be David Fell, one of the senior analysts for Hamptons, and he will be talking about prospects for the UK property market over the course of next year.

In addition to that, the event will offer advisors two debates featuring guest panels. The first of them will look at how the mortgage advice industry is changing and how advisors should explain that process to consumers. The second will be about products, with a focus on whether it will be remortgages or product transfers that rise in popularity during 2024.

Alongside the speakers and panels, there will exhibitors present at the event for both business and networking purposes. Among them will be both major residential mortgage lenders and smaller specialist ones, including the likes of Buckinghamshire Building Society, Market Financial Solutions and Affirmative Finance.

Finally, the event will provide continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities too. At least 2.5 hours of this will be on offer to advisors over the course of the day. The summit takes place on 29th November at Village Hotel London Watford.

This event has all the makings of one that all advisors with CeMAP training will be keen to book a place at.
