News
Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) has announced a new appointment that is designed to bolster its lending team, with Sam Toms taking up the position of lender relationships account manager.
This represents an internal hire, as Toms has been working for MAB for the past decade. She has spent that time managing the company’s Events team and has enjoyed considerable success in that role. Now, she will be in charge of coming up with solutions to meet the needs of customers who are not served by the mainstream lenders.
Toms will also be involved in improving the education of MAB’s advisors, where she will support the strategic lender relationship director Rachel Geddes.
MAB is stating that the move will enable it to build relationships with new mortgage lenders, as well as maintain its existing ones. One of the other responsibilities that Toms will have is to help the MAB network of advisors in finding and exploiting new business opportunities.
She spoke to Financial Advisor after her appointment was announced, stating that:
“This is such an exciting step for me – one that builds on the relationships I’ve developed over the years with our lender partners, and aligns with my passion for helping our advisors say “yes” to more customers.”
Toms then went on to add that she was looking forward to seeing what she could do to make the relationships that MAB has with lenders stronger.
This is important news, because those who have CeMAP mortgage advisor training need the best possible support if they are to serve their clients.
