Mortgage Advisors
Tenet Group has announced the recruitment of a new Head Of Development and Learning who will be responsible for overseeing continuous professional development (CPD) for advisors.
Anthony Sheard is the man who will take up this role, having been brought in from HSBC. He has spent the past five years working as its Global Development and Coaching Manager, but prior to that he had a number of other management level positions with them in areas such as business risk. He has also worked for First Direct as its Development and Learning Head.
The decision to bring him to Tenet Group comes ahead of the scheduled launch of a revised portal for development and learning, which is expected to be ready before the end of 2022. He will be in charge of all aspects of this for mortgage advisors working with Tenet Group, making sure they have the help and tools needed to assist clients and develop their companies.
Tenet Chief Executive Mark Scanlon told Financial Reporter that expert advice was needed now more than ever, and that this was why Tenet was putting money and time into CPD opportunities for advisors. He went on to add that:
“Anthony brings a wealth of experience from his various development roles within the financial services sector, and we’re excited to welcome him as we continue to support our advisors’ growth and help them deliver financial piece of mind to their clients.”
Following CeMAP training to qualify as an advisor, CPD training remains an ongoing aspect of the job.
