New portal for advisors introduced by NatWest

December 2, 2023 by Alan

NatWest Intermediary Solutions has introduced a brand-new portal for mortgage advisors on its website, with the company stating that it will make submitting applications and following their progress easier.

The unit for advisors within the high street lender is indicating that the design of this new system is a big improvement on what existed before. It will offer a number of adjustments to cut the time that advisors have to spend on mortgage applications. They include decision-in-principal certificates, a reduced number of questions and an overall design that is more responsive to the user.

In addition to that, the portal offers a range of useful functions. Mortgage advisors will be able to register complete applications for loans using it, as well as European standardised information sheets. They will also be able to submit files relevant to applications through it, while the function for monitoring the progress of them after submission has been upgraded.

NatWest intends it to take the place of its earlier portal and has stated that mortgage advisors will receive an email that contains a link offering access information. It has also said that the revised portal will provide advisors with a service that offers greater dependability, stronger data security and faster processing times.

The old NatWest portal is set to remain active until the middle of next month, so supporting files can be sent using it.

While those with CeMAP mortgage advisor training will have to get used to the new system, the younger generation of advisors are more tech-savvy.
