Protection events for advisors announced by Just Mortgages

December 20, 2023 by Heidi

The mortgage broker firm Just Mortgages is set to tour the country from the beginning of next year, with a number of live events that are intended to help self-employed mortgage advisors with protection guidance.

These events will see the brokerage travel the length and breadth of the UK to offer in-person live guidance on the subject of protection advice. Mortgage advisors who work on a self-employed basis will be able to attend ones close to where they are living. The events will provide information about protection products, as well as training in advising clients about them and tech tools to assist with that.

Many of the top companies that offer protection products will be in attendance at the various events too. That includes Guardian, The Exeter, Vitality, L&G and Aviva. They will be using the events to lay out the various types of protection they provide and to answer queries concerning issues like affordability and criteria put to them by advisors.

Training groups will also be available at the shows, so that mortgage advisors can learn how to promote the value of protection to their clients. Up to 40 self-employed mortgage advisors will be able to attend each of the events that Just Mortgages has scheduled for the year.

The initial one is currently due to be held at a location in Dartford, during the first month of the year.

These events will be very valuable to self-employed advisors with CeMAP, as protection products offer the potential to build a further income stream.
