Benefits of CeMAP home study courses

January 3, 2009 by Brendan O'Neill

Most financial training companies only offer in-house or on-location CeMAP training courses, however, these do not suit everyone, so here are a few advantages of taking a home study or distance learning course instead:

  • Even though a full time CeMAP training course might not suit you, almost everyone agrees that it is very difficult to self study from the ifs School of Finance study manuals that you get when you register for the exam, so a professionally compiled CeMAP home study course from experienced trainers is so much easier
  • You are able to work entirely at your own pace
  • You can fit the training in and around your home life or professional life, or whatever commitments you might have
  • You do not have to take time off work

In order for these advantages to work to your benefit, it is really important that you are very well disciplined.  A good quality CeMAP home study course should include mini tests, opportunities for revision and the best ones will come with some sort of personalised support, such as a tutor available on email or phone for example so make sure you use a reputable financial training company with a good background that is willing to answer any questions you might have.
