Further announcements made for upcoming industry event

October 28, 2026 by Brendan O'Neill

Two further figures from within the industry have been added to the judging panel for an upcoming mortgage sector event.

Mortgage’s Got Talent is an event that will be part fundraiser, part networking event and part fun. On the day, a number of mortgage advisors and other people from within the sector will be showing off their abilities as entertainers. How their acts go down will be decided by the panel of judges and the latest additions to it are Niki Cooke and Sharon Marshall.

Both of them are employed by Mortgage Brain, but now they will be expected to put their mortgage brains to work in assessing talent. This event is the creation of Kevin Duffy, who is the managing director of Mortgageforce.

He was quoted by Mortgage Soup as saying:

“We hope that Sharon Marshall will bring the same erudite judgement as her namesake, Osborne. And we know that whatever feedback her buddy Niki cooks up will be worth serving also!”

Mortgage’s Got Talent will be raising money for a number of charities, including EveryYouth, which provides resources for young people who are homeless. It has been created as a follow-up to the Take Me Home 25 Christmas Charity Concert, which was also put together by MortgageForce.

One of those who will be performing at Mortgage’s Got Talent is Debbie Staveley from bClear Communications. It will be held on 25th November in London’s Piazza Italiana.

This is an event that anyone with the CeMAP mortgage advisor qualification will want to attend if possible, to support the cause.
