Legal and General Mortgage Club has announced it will maintain its working relationship with the protection and mortgage CRM (customer relationship management) platform Smartr365.
What this ongoing relationship will mean is those mortgage advisors who are members of this club will be able to turn to either Smartr365 or the Ignite platform offered by Legal and General when they need to conduct searches. Smartr365 was set up to help advisors to simplify the work processes involved in a typical mortgage application.
It lets mortgage advisors submit completed applications but also analyse how their businesses are doing, with the aim of growing them further. On the other hand, Legal and General Ignite is suitable for everything from searching for mortgage products and customer criteria to calculating the affordability of different products. It was introduced by Legal and General during 2023.
Clare Beardmore, of Legal and General Mortgage Services, told Mortgage Solutions that it was vital that advisors had access to options that can reduce the workload from routine tasks, because the market is now heating up.
She then stated:
“By combining the very best aspects of our sourcing, research and CRM capabilities, Legal and General Mortgage Club members will benefit from a very comprehensive digital offering that supports both mortgage and protection applications.”
Beardmore concluded by saying that more tech developments could be expected from the company this year.
