Legal & General Home Finance has announced the introduction of a new hub offering video support for mortgage advisors, which is available via its website.
This hub contains a number of brief videos that cover subjects related to the lender’s range of mortgage products. It is designed to be simple for advisors to get access to, while the video content is intended to address many standard issues that arise during the application process. Subjects covered by the various videos include guides to the legal processes involved and how to evaluate the value of different properties.
L&G Home Finance is indicating that this is just the start and that further videos addressing additional subject matter will be coming before long. Mortgage advisors can get into the hub at all times of the day and night and from any location. This is in recognition of the fact that they often do not work just standard business hours.
The distribution director for the lender, David G Jones, told Mortgage Finance Gazette that:
“We’re always listening to advisor feedback to improve their experience. That is why we are delighted to launch the Video Support Hub; a platform that signifies our commitment to empowering financial advisors with the tools they need for success.”
He then continued by saying that the lending criteria guides within it would help to make the process of applying for loans on behalf of their clients more straightforward.
This sounds like the kind of resource that those with CeMAP mortgage advisor training will welcome.
