New advisors join Mortgage 1st

December 16, 2025 by Brendan O'Neill

Mortgage 1st has announced the latest move in its plans for expansion, with 10 further protection and mortgage advisors being added to its roster.

This represents a record recruitment drive by the broker company and shows how committed it is to expanding its operations across the country. These new advisors will begin to be on-boarded by the company almost straight away and they have been recruited from a variety of professions. Some of them were already self-employed or employed mortgage advisors, while others previously worked as bankers or in other roles within the financial services sector.

In addition to having been drawn from a range of professional backgrounds, the new recruits are also based in locations around the UK. Mortgage 1st has confirmed that this will not be the end of its hiring either.

It has a further six mortgage advisors in line to be inducted at the start of next year and plans for more to follow. The aim is for its network of advisors to cover the whole of the country, so that it can claim to be a truly national brand.

Mortgage 1st is able to pursue these ambitious plans due to investment it landed towards the start of 2025. Its managing director is Jon Stones and he told Mortgage Solutions:

“Onboarding 10 advisors at once is a major milestone and a clear indicator of the trajectory we’re on. The diversity of experience within this group aligns perfectly with our strategy of building a high-calibre, nationwide advisor network.”

This could be a good opportunity for those with CeMAP training.
