New portal for advisors launched by Cumberland BS

Cumberland Building Society has announced the launch of a new portal for mortgage advisors on its website, which is designed to make the application process smoother for them.

This portal has been created in collaboration with Mast, a company specialising in tech solutions for the mortgage industry. It will support mortgage advisors during every aspect of the process, from making the first enquiry about a product to submitting the finished application. It also contains a number of functions that should help to make much of the work of applying quicker and easier.

The main one is the ability to automate many routine admin tasks, like the uploading of supporting files. Other important functions include intuitive design for faster turnaround times and comprehensive process management.

Cumberland BS is hoping that the portal will provide advisors with a more streamlined way of completing applications on behalf of their customers. It has been fully integrated with the Mast platform, so the lender can benefit from any new functions or improvements introduced by the company.

Talking to Mortgage Introducer, Grant Seaton from Cumberland BS stated that:

“Our launch of the new broker portal represents another milestone in our mission to offer the best possible service to brokers. The ability to reduce the time spent on administration is crucial for brokers navigating today’s market.”

He then went on to add that it was following up its earlier introduction of a new affordability calculator.

It is true that advisors with CeMAP training need time-saving solutions, so this is good news.
