New website for advisors launched by Atom Bank

September 16, 2024 by Brendan O'Neill

The digital banking service Atom Bank has announced the introduction of a brand new website for mortgage advisors to use, with this forming part of a wider rebranding exercise.

Atom Bank is the first banking service in the country to operate solely online, through an app. Its new website is strictly for mortgage advisors, not the general public, and will be replacing the Digital Mortgages site. That brand is being scrapped and all of the company’s services will now come under the Atom Bank umbrella. This means mortgage search systems will use that name when listing all of its available products.

The change is not just about branding though. The bank has taken the opportunity to redesign and restructure its website. Advisors will now be able to get all information required and keep track of commercial and residential mortgage applications using it.

If they were users of the old Digital Mortgages one, they will not have to change anything themselves. Links to parts of that defunct site will automatically redirect to the new one. Chris Storey from the bank said to Mortgage Solutions that:

“While the Digital Mortgages brand has been a big part of our growth, the time has come to create a unified brand that’s stronger and aligned under the Atom Bank name and values.”

He added that feedback from advisors had been sought and that new features would be coming.

This revamp should make it easier for advisors with CeMAP training when they are dealing with applications through Atom Bank.
