Air Academy now free for member advisors

July 12, 2026 by Brendan O'Neill

Air Club has revealed that it is making its Air Academy educational resource available for free to all advisors who are members.

This resource features over 70 different examples of educational content related to later life lending. Air Club has decided to make it free to member advisors so that is easier for them to learn more about that segment of the mortgage market. The lender stated that this will lead to a better standard of service for the general public.

Among the educational materials featured at Air Academy are live webinars, podcasts, technical training, and help with marketing and promotions. It also offers later life lending master-classes that are available to advisors on demand. In addition to all of this, advisors who join Air Club will be able to gain exclusive access to industry events.

The Advisor Accreditation for Later Life Lending provided by Air Academy is supported by the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF). This makes it an industry-recognised supplement to CeMAP training courses. It consists of a total of 10 modules alongside 24 hours of CPD.

Will Hale is the chief executive officer at Air. He told Mortgage Soup that later life lending is a growth area of the lending market, before adding.

“However, awareness of later life lending options remains poor among mainstream mortgage advisors and wealth managers/IFAs with distribution silos resulting in the failure for all products being considered for many older customers.”

Further educational opportunities like this may be something advisors will want to take advantage of after completing CeMAP training.
