CeMAP or CII

April 3, 2018 by Brendan O'Neill

Many people who enquire about CeMAP training often ask us if there are other qualifications which are the same as CeMAP. Answer – there are!!!

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is another exam board who offer a mortgage adviser qualification called Certificate in Mortgage Advice where you have to do two exams called CF1 and CF6.

So why do CeMAP ????  Well it is a more well known qualification and the vast majority of mortgage advisers, around 80% currently have CeMAP so it makes sense to take the qualification that most employers and industry professionals ask for.

However, there is no reason why people can’t take our CeMAP training courses and then take the CF1 and CF6 exams and many people attending our CeMAP training courses have done it this way.
