Decisioning unit for intermediaries launched by Vida

Mortgage lender Vida has announced the launch of a centralised decisioning hub that is aimed at intermediaries and that will enable advisors to speak to people able to offer comprehensive support and case management.
Called V-Hub, it will unite the decision-making and intermediary relationship departments at Vida in one place. This will make it easier for mortgage advisors to get accurate and quick responses to any questions about ongoing applications they may have.
Vida sought the opinions of intermediaries when it came to the design of V-Hub. Their feedback demonstrated that the top priority for most when working on complex mortgage applications was to be able to talk to someone responsible for making decisions.
The alterations that Vida is making to its method of connecting with intermediaries are intended to make the experience that advisors have better and offer them access to more underwriters than was possible before.
Vida’s intermediary relationship staff, managed by Helen Cawthra, will be overseeing this new hub. The lender’s national account managers will back them up in this.
Speaking to Financial Reporter, Vida CEO Anth Mooney said:
“After a thorough review, we have decided to redesign our intermediary proposition so that we prioritise our people and resources on providing the access and decision-making support that our brokers and partners tell us they need.”
Having fast and reliable access to underwriters will make the jobs of those with CeMAP mortgage advisor training a little easier at a time when the mortgage market is particularly challenging.
