Metro Bank has announced a number of changes to its lending specialist mortgage team, which are a mix of promotions and new hires.
In the former category, Charles Morley has been given additional responsibilities. He has served as the mortgage distribution director at the bank for several years, but will now also be director of mortgage servicing and operations. This means he will be in charge of every stage of the consumer experience, from the initial expression of interest to the final mortgage completion.
Another promotion sees Neil McLeod become the bank’s new national key account manager. He has been with Metro Bank for eight years and was previously employed as a regional sales manager. His new job will see him enhance existing partnerships with mortgage clubs and networks, as well as developing new ones.
Metro Bank has also brought in additional people. Dean Linklater has been hired as its North of England regional sales manager. He has worked in the specialist lending field for over two decades and has a strong grasp of the market in that region.
The other new appointments are Emma Dudley and Nicola Moore, as a telephone and field BDM.
Morley told Mortgage Strategy:
“Our mortgage team is focused on building strong relationships and delivering for our clients. We’re able to provide a complete, end-to-end customer journey, combined with a shared commitment for excellent service and delivery at every point.”
Advisors with the CeMAP qualification know that specialist lending is a growth area, so they need the best support staff at mortgage lenders.
