Just Mortgages nears self-employed advisor target

January 2, 2024 by Brendan O'Neill

Just Mortgages has announced that it is close to hitting its target number of 500 advisors for its self-employed division, and has several more induction sessions scheduled throughout this month.

The brokerage is set to induct more than 30 new self-employed mortgage advisors before the end of December. There will be three sessions during the month for that purpose, two of them taking place in parts of the South of England and the other in the North of the country.

These come in the wake of 20 applications being processed from advisors wishing to join its self-employed division during each of the previous two months. Just Mortgages is stating that this means the final quarter of 2023 has been the best this year in terms of new advisor application numbers.

The second quarter of the year saw the brokerage deal with a total of 52 of these applications, while 48 advisors joined its self-employed division during the first quarter.

Those who apply to be part of the division have the option of using their own business name or that of Just Mortgages. As part of the division, they are able to get business growth backing, help with compliance issues, business marketing and sales help, as well as general training from chosen mentors.

Carl Parker from Just Mortgages said that the company was ending the year with increased determination to boost this part of its advisor network.

There are clear advantages to following up the CeMAP training courses needed to qualify as mortgage advisors by joining a top brokerage.
