New equity release podcast launched by Air Group

September 6, 2024 by Brendan O'Neill

Air Group has announced the start of a brand new podcast that will be focusing on the later life part of the lending market, providing mortgage advisors with tips and information on making the most of it.

This podcast has been given the name ‘Master Later Life Lending’. It will feature content that is suitable for advisors working within the mainstream lending sector, as well as those who concentrate on equity release. Among the topics that will be dealt with during the series are best practice for young and old customers; the effects of technology; matters relating to compliance and the latest trends within the sector.

It will be hosted by Paul Glynn, who is the Air Group chief executive. Talking to Mortgage Introducer, he said that it was the latest salvo in the company’s commitment to ensuring that the mortgage sector has the discussions that it needs.

He then went on by adding:

“We serve two key customer groups: the traditional equity release demographic and the emerging over-50s still managing mortgage repayments into retirement.”

Glynn concluded by saying that the lender was delighted to be offering mortgage advisors a service whereby they could learn more about a growing segment of the market.

This podcast will contain interviews with different equity release experts and significant industry figures. It will also debunk standard misconceptions among the general public.

Advisors who are supplementing their CeMAP courses with CeRER ones so that they can capitalise on the growth in equity release will want to tune into this.
