New series of Pepper Money advisor podcast starts

January 22, 2025 by Mark

One of the top specialist mortgage lenders in the country has announced that a new series of its podcast aimed at advisors is now starting.

Pepper Money is the lender behind the podcast called ‘The Specialist’ that has become essential listening for many mortgage advisors. This latest series will be the fifth and the format will remain largely unchanged. Once again, it is set to offer interviews with key figures from within the mortgage and housing markets where the main subjects of the day will be discussed.

Some of the people who will guest on the new series have already been confirmed. The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) chief executive Rob Sinclair is one of them. This will be among the last interviews he undertakes before giving up that role.

Others who have been lined up include The Mortgage People managing director Kelly McCabe, Pam Brown Mortgages owner Pam Brown and One Mortgage System managing director Neal Jannels. The topics that will be raised over the course of the series include achieving the right work/life balance, how technology is changing the industry and how to help those buying for the first time.

Each new episode will debut on Thursdays and can be found at Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Its host Rob Barnard stated that everyone at Pepper Money was delighted at how big a hit the show had been with mortgage advisors.

Even when CeMAP training has been completed, advisors must keep learning and this is a good way to stay abreast of industry trends.
