Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has announced that it has a new business development manager in charge of the north of the country, with Josh Swaby being the chosen man.
This is an internal promotion rather than a new hire, as Swaby has been working for HTB for the past two years. He has been based within the development finance department, as an underwriter and a relationship manager during that time. Before joining the bank he was employed by another major UK mortgage lender as part of its commercial department.
His new position at HTB will see him take charge of establishing stronger connections with outside mortgage advisors in addition to helping those in the north who are already affiliated to the bank. The job will also require him to increase awareness among housing developers.
After his promotion was announced, Swaby spoke to Financial Reporter and said that he was delighted to be in charge of boosting the bank’s northern profile because he had been brought up in Yorkshire.
Then he added:
“I’m looking forward to supporting our fantastic development finance team, regional housebuilders and brokers in the north and demonstrating our commitment to the fantastic towns, cities and beyond that make this area so special.”
Swaby also pointed out that he had a team made up of people of the highest calibre alongside him in this role.
Advisors who did CeMAP classes in the North West will be pleased at the prospect of having additional support as they try to help homebuyers.
