Swansea BS joins Primis lender panel

June 10, 2022 by Brendan O'Neill

Swansea Building Society (BS) has become the latest big mortgage lender to sign up to the lender panel for Primis Mortgage Network, which will directly benefit advisors who are members of it.

Mortgage advisors who are Primis Network members will now be able to take advantage of the full slate of mortgage products that are offered by Swansea BS – including residential, holiday let and buy to let loans – on behalf of their clients. The products available will also include the green mortgage recently launched by the building society, which is applicable to homes with an A or B Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ranking.

Speaking to Financial Reporter following the announcement, the Swansea BS Chief Executive, Alun Williams, said that the company was extremely pleased to be linking up with Primis. He then went on to say that:

“We believe our unique range of mortgage products will extend the scope of propositions available to its advisors, who will then be able to find the right product tailored to their customers’ needs.”

Williams concluded by stating that Swansea BS was committed to providing loans that meet the requirements of people looking to buy a home, and that it deals with every application individually to ensure that it can provide the appropriate support to each separate applicant.

Vikki Jefferies from Primis said that adding another top lender would guarantee access to the best loans for its advisors.

After CeMAP mortgage advisor training, many people go on to join networks precisely because of the wider range of mortgage products available.
