Two of the top mortgage lenders in the UK have announced the appointment of new people to their staff, with the aim of growing their businesses and improving their services.
Family Business Society has brought in a new business development manager, in the shape of Gina England. She will be in charge of the West and East Midlands regions and will work with mortgage advisors based there. Prior to taking up her new role, England was employed by Coventry Building Society, with broadly similar responsibilities. She has also held positions with Hinckley & Rugby Building Society and Lloyds Banking Group.
When her appointment was announced, England spoke to Mortgage Introducer and said that she was excited by the prospect of working with advisors on applications for products offered by Family BS.
She continued by saying:
“I really enjoy being out and about – meeting brokers and helping them with the more complex cases which are often underserved by the bigger lenders.”
The second lender to bring in a new recruit is Interbridge Mortgages. This company has hired a finance director, with Oliver Dickinson being the man to take up that role. He has extensive mortgage industry experience, having worked at Admiral Money and Pepper Money among other places.
Dickinson’s task at the second charge lender will be to help in the development of its strategy for growth.
These both sound like excellent hires and advisors with the CeMAP qualification based in the Midlands will welcome the chance to work on applications with England.
