BDM for the Midlands chosen by Hampshire Trust Bank

October 18, 2023 by Mark

In a recent announcement, Hampshire Trust Bank noted the recruitment of a new business development manager (BDM) to be in charge of its Midlands region specialist mortgages department.

Annie Crust will be taking on this role and will bring more than two decades of experience within financial services. Most of her career has seen her working in the specialist lending part of the mortgage market and she has been employed by both mortgage lenders and brokers.

This position with Hampshire Trust Bank will mean she is in charge of managing relationships with its team of mortgage advisors. This will include getting to know the business of each of them and what parts of the public they are targeting; it will also mean finding ways of opening up fresh business opportunities both for the bank and for mortgage advisors.

Talking to Financial Reporter after her appointment was confirmed, Crust stated she was happy to be working for the bank due to its fine reputation in the specialist mortgage sector.

She then added:

“Having admired HTB’s proposition from afar for some time, and I could not pass up the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic team within an award-winning bank, whose appetite for product development and growth is unrivalled.”

Advisors who have completed CeMAP courses and are working within the industry need the best possible support of this kind from lenders if they are to help their customers secure the right mortgage.
