HTB appoints new specialist loans sales director

August 2, 2023 by Brendan O'Neill

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has confirmed the recruitment of a new sales director for its specialist mortgages division, with Andrea Glasgow having been appointed to the role.

Glasgow will bring a great deal of experience to it, having worked within the financial industry for more than a decade and a half. Prior to taking up this position at HTB, she held high ranking origination and sales roles for Glenhawk, Castle Trust and HTB. Her new job title will mean that she is in charge of the business development management team at the company as well as being director of sales and head of new business.

She will have responsibility for every part of the HTB sales process. That will mean generating new clients and working with its team of mortgage advisors. She will be the person within the company that they communicate with, during both the multi-stage origination process and the completion of applications.

Speaking to Mortgage Introducer, HTB’s specialist division managing director Chris Daly said that he was delighted by the new appointment.

He then went on to say that:

“She is a very well-respected individual within our industry, and is experienced in running high-performing sales teams, as well as originating deals across the full spectrum of residential and semi-commercial specialist property investment lending.”

He concluded by saying that she would help the team to assist both the public and advisors.

Advisors who have CeMAP training and who work with HTB will welcome having such an experienced point of contact within the company.
