MPowered Mortgages has announced the creation of a new community platform that is being targeted at mortgage advisors, which will be available via its website.
The lender is stating that it sees this platform as a way for advisors to make connections and discuss issues with others in the same field. They will be able to use it to talk about the service standards offered by different lenders, as well as changes to mortgage criteria and rates. The platform will allow for debates between advisors too and will let them share information about upcoming industry events in the various regions of the country.
Following the launch of the new platform, MPowered Mortgages CEO Stuart Cheetham told Financial Reporter that the company was pleased to be providing what is the first service of its kind in the UK.
He then went on to add that:
“As a broker-only lender, we are focused on using the cutting edge of AI and technology to find ways of supporting brokers and addressing the challenges that brokers in our industry face today.”
Cheetham concluded by saying that the lender feels its new platform will enable mortgage advisors to get answers to relevant queries more rapidly, as it will let them share knowledge with each other.
Liyyanah El-aidouni, also from MPowered, said that the lender had originally planned the new platform to resemble the social media site Reddit – but specifically for advisors.
This platform sounds like it could be a really useful tool for those with CeMAP mortgage advisor training.
