New integrations confirmed for ClientTree

January 16, 2024 by Brendan O'Neill

Two new integrations have been confirmed for the customer relationship management (CRM) ClientTree, with the Sourcing Brain system offered by Mortgage Brain and the Ignite system provided by Legal & General.

The decision to integrate it into these systems should come as no great surprise, as Mortgage Brain first linked up with ClientTree during late autumn last year, followed by Legal & General during December. That was after mortgage advisors had specifically asked for it. The new integrations mean that ClientTree users will be able to check up on affordability or criteria using either of the two search systems.

Those who opt to do that via Ignite can do so without incurring charges, because the Legal & General system is available to use by mortgage advisors for free. Advisors who do use it post-integration will notice some changes to ClientTree though. This CRM, set up by Lilla Dilliway, herself an advisor, now has a special section for insurance and enables advisors to check whether or not policies are in trust.

Dilliway first introduced a trial of it during March 2023, and the underlying idea was for a CRM where the focus was on each individual’s financial affairs. It lets advisors see a profile of every client with data concerning their insurance policies and mortgages – both existing and defunct ones – plus information about credit issues.

This is a move that will make the sourcing aspect of applications easier for those with CeMAP mortgage advisor training, which will mean it is something that the majority of advisors welcome.
