New webinars for advisors announced by Knowledge Bank

September 28, 2020 by Brendan O'Neill

Knowledge Bank has announced that it will be running a series of monthly webinars that will target mortgage advisors with the help of Kent Reliance and Precise Mortgages, to be named ‘A Question of Knowledge’.

They will be hosted by Knowledge Bank founder Nicola Firth, and the first webinar is set to look at the methods in which mortgage advisors can interpret bank statements supplied by their clients beyond the basics. Firth is set to be joined by various guests from the mortgage industry in these webinars, with the first episode featuring Precise Mortgages’ Key Accounts Head, Liza Campion, and Kent Reliance’s Group Distribution Director, Roger Morris.

Each of the webinars in the series is set to be interactive, enabling advisors to put questions to the presenter and guests. Speaking to the Financial Reporter as she announced the launch, Firth stated that it was particularly important for advisors to stay abreast of industry and product changes right now, before going on to say that:

“This first topic will give insight into how to interpret a bank statement and in the future we will cover topics including conveyancing, taxation, fraud and we will also look at topical developments in the industry.”

Morris stated that Kent Reliance was pleased to be teaming up with other industry experts so that everyone could share valuable insights and advice for both experienced and new advisors to learn from.

This could prove to be a useful source of continuous professional development for advisors who have completed CeMAP training.
