Mortgage Advisors
Mortgage advisors Paradigm have announced the launch of a number of new videos that are being targeted at mortgage advisors and that will contain interviews with key employees from lenders about the market for this year.
These videos have been given the name Paradigm Insights and each one will see the company’s mortgages director, Richard Howes, talking to senior figures from different mortgage lenders. Among them are Foundation Home Loans sales director Grant Hendry, Santander business development chief Graham Sellar and Nationwide BS intermediary relationships director Ian Andrew.
Topics under discussion include their perspectives on what the mortgage market will bring for advisors during the first few months of this year and what potential issues advisors need to be conscious of.
Each video has a different theme, ranging from green mortgages to tech developments designed to assist advisors and opportunities in the product transfer segment of the market. Advisors can access them via the Paradigm site and they can also be recorded for continuous professional development (CPD) purposes.
Speaking to Mortgage Solutions, Howes stated that the sector had undergone a turbulent time last year and this had made Paradigm keen to find out where major industry figures thought the chances and difficulties would lie for advisors this year.
He then went on to add:
“Throughout the year we’ll continue to add more to our CPD Academy to ensure advisor members are fully up to date and on top of the market.”
It is important that advisors follow CeMAP training by pursuing continuous professional development rather than standing still.
