Mortgage Advisors
SimplyBiz Mortgages will be hosting the industry education event ‘Summer of Learning’ once again this year, after the inaugural conference last year proved to be a big hit.
Running for almost a month, the 2021 Summer of Learning will be held as a virtual event and will see the various sessions provided using different technologies. Among the subjects that are set to be covered during the course of it are building society mortgage services, specialist mortgage products and how new technology is changing the industry.
There will be a number of SimplyBiz Mortgages presenters speaking during the event, and they will be joined by people from top partner lenders. These will include Mortgage Brain, Mansfield BS, Buckinghamshire BS, Key Group, Foundation Home Loans, Nottingham BS, Keystone Mortgages, Leeds BS and Accord Mortgages.
Talking to Mortgage Introducer, SimplyBiz Mortgages CEO Martin Reynolds stated that the feedback that it had received from advisors and lenders about last year’s conference had been extremely positive. He then went on to add:
“Mortgage brokers and advisors have faced many challenges over the past 18 months; operating in a turbulent market with constantly changing client needs, products and ways of working.”
Reynolds argued that the industry should be happy with how it had coped with this.
The Summer of Learning is scheduled to begin on August 6th and run until August 25th. After completing the CeMAP mortgage advisor course, trained advisors still need to pursue continuous professional development, and this sounds like it will be a valuable addition to that.
