Financial Reporter rethinks 2024 mortgage advisor roadshows

December 8, 2023 by Brendan O'Neill

Financial Reporter has announced that its nationwide roadshows that are designed to give mortgage lenders and advisors opportunities to connect with each other are being revised for next year.

Whereas in previous years, these roadshows were split by the different segments of the market that they covered, they will now all be united. This means that instead of distinct shows for the likes of later life lending, buy-to-let and specialist lending, there will now just be Financial Reporter Roadshows that deal with a range of subjects.

This move has been made in the wake of feedback that was provided by advisors. While all of the shows will still have as many as six lenders contributing, these will now be from different parts of the market, ensuring that there is more variety among the guest speakers.

More than 40 roadshows are being planned for next year, each in a different part of the country. Mortgage advisors who attend will have the opportunity to conduct actual mortgage business with lenders, as well as network and pursue continuous professional development.

Talking to Financial Reporter, director of Barcadia Media James Lucas said that advisors had asked for more comprehensive coverage at each event due to the fluctuations in the market at the moment. He then added:

“We’re looking forward to getting on the road again in 2024 and hope to see plenty of you there!”

People with CeMAP mortgage advisor training will be keen to attend one of these events when it comes to their region.
