Just Mortgages has announced the hiring of a new director of financial services, and the appointee is the first female to hold this position within the company.
Kerry-Ann Davies was chosen as part of moves by the company to improve its levels of diversity, and she brings more than a decade and a half of experience within the financial services industry to her new role. For 13 years, she was in charge of a mortgage advice team at NatWest, but her most recent position was at the estate agency firm Butters John Bee, where she was divisional sales director.
This firm was bought by the parent group for Just Mortgages, Spicerhaart, in 2018 and Davies has been managing one of its mortgage advice teams. Now she has been promoted to oversee the expansion of the company’s financial services division in the west of England.
Speaking about her new job, Davies stated that she was delighted to have been given this chance and that there were numerous opportunities for mortgage advisors to develop their careers within the company that she hopes to help them realise.
Just Mortgages national sales director, John Phillips, told Mortgage Solutions:
“Kerry-Ann was the clear choice to be appointed to this role; her experience is beyond question and her accomplishments in helping to develop mortgage advisors to grow their careers have been remarkable.”
The first step in pursuing a career as an advisor is to apply to a CeMAP training company to get the industry standard CeMAP qualification.
