New feedback forum for advisors launched

April 6, 2021 by Brendan O'Neill

A new forum has been launched by The Mortgage Works (TMW) and Nationwide that is intended to be for advisors to submit feedback and ideas for improving services.

This forum is called Broker Connect Panel, and TMW and Nationwide have stated that they feel any thoughts that users provide through it will help them to keep meeting advisor and borrower needs in the future. It is an online forum that will be open to advisors working in all areas of the mortgage sector.

The plan is to secure important feedback about mortgage products, as well as customer service issues, such as communications. Advisors that use the forum will also have the chance to say what they think about broader mortgage sector matters, like the intermediary lending market.

Broker Connect Panel is initially being unveiled as a pilot, with this due to run for three months. Any advisors linked to either TMW or Nationwide will be able to use it.

According to Financial Reporter, Ian Andrew from Nationwide stated that the building society always aimed to deliver the best service possible for both advisors and borrowers, but that it could always be made better. He then added that the direct connection with advisors that this forum would create would help with that process.

Nationwide has indicated that Broker Connect Panel will become a permanent service, should advisors embrace it during the trial period.

Advisors with a CeMAP qualification will welcome the chance to offer ideas drawn from their knowledge and experience to improve lender services.
