Stonebridge and Air link-up on tech tools for advisors

The Stonebridge mortgage broker firm has announced that it will be entering into a new partnership with lending platform Air to provide its mortgage advisors with further technology support.

This collaboration will mean that both the Navigator and WriteRoute solutions created by Air will now be available for use by mortgage advisors. These solutions are designed to make everyday business administration and managing client data both safe and accurate, and simple and easy for advisors.

Navigator is a solution that provides information about any later life mortgage products that meet the affordability criteria for clients. WriteRoute is a solution for fact finding, which helps with tasks like sourcing potential mortgage products, but also comes with a question set that advisors can use to help identify if a client is vulnerable.

Stonebridge is among the biggest protection and mortgage networks. It helps with the completion of mortgages, totalling as much as £12 billion per year, and has a very large network of mortgage advisors connected to it. At the moment, there are over 1,100 of them working with the network.

A spokesperson for Stonebridge stated that this team-up with Air would mean advisors would benefit from solutions that will enable them to provide the best possible service for their clients, and meet Consumer Duty obligations.

Solutions of this sort can reduce the time advisors spend on routine work and allow them to apply what they learned on their CeMAP training courses to help their clients.
