Two new BDMs join Market Harborough BS

May 18, 2026 by Brendan O'Neill

Market Harborough Building Society has announced the recruitment of a further two business development managers (BDMs), both of whom will deal with specialist cases.

One of the new recruits is Parveen Kumari-Reynolds, who will work for the lender as one of its telephone BDMs. Kumari-Reynolds will be concentrating on helping mortgage advisors in Scotland and the North of England. Market Harborough BS is just beginning to expand its operations to include Scotland, and this new appointment will provide valuable support to advisors there.

The other person who has joined the building society is Victoria Taricska. In contrast to Kumari-Reynolds, she will deal with advisors located on the South Coast and in South London. She will also be working in the field, rather than being based at the main offices of Market Harborough BS.

Iain Smith is the mortgage distribution head for the building society. He was quoted by Mortgage Strategy as saying that he was very happy that both were on board. He then went on to add:

“Between them, they bring over 40 years’ combined experience and a strong understanding of the challenges brokers face when placing more complex cases.”

Smith concluded by saying that Market Harborough BS had doubled its staff during the last year, which showed its dedication to assisting advisors at a time when the specialist lending market is growing fast.

There is no question that demand for specialist loans is on the rise, so those who have done the CeMAP mortgage advisor course will be glad of additional support from a key specialist lender.
